F**k those Flags!

All of them. And the person responsible for making them such an irritating achievement on Assassin's Creed. I want the achievement. I want to feel the overwhelming joy when the very last flag prompts the unlocked bar to pop onto the screen. But I am not a masochist (which as the dictionary states is a willingness or tendency to subject oneself to unpleasant or trying experiences) so it's not going to happen. Still, it's just one of a few problems with the game that is only saved by a truly spectacular environment and game mechanics. It's so much fun to actually control the lead character you can mindlessly plough through the same set of tasks again and again and defy boredom! Only problem now is the Xbox keeps telling me the disc is scratched and I am so close to the end! Going to try to clean the disc and hope that it fixes the problem.

Assassin's Creed is without a doubt one of the biggest letdowns in videogame history. It's bad enough that the plot is terrible fuax-Matrix rubbish, but the fact that you have to repeat tasks for each mark is incredibly annoying - as you say, the only reason to keep playing is the amazing control system and the stunning cities.

Sadly, it seems that they don't teach you how to swim in Assassin school as your character dies as soon as he touches water - this makes the assassination in the port painfully annoying as you often get pushed into the water by those shambling retards that seem to populate each level!

Creed is certainly a mixed bag. Some areas are superb and these alone keep you hooked even when the dialogue, story and repetition let the side down. It's as if the staff spent too much time preparing Jade Raymonds pr campaign rather than focusing on a decent plot to follow. Shes going to have to pimp the next Creed game naked to fool us all a second time.

LOL

I'll buy twenty copies of AC2 if that proves to be the case...

She may have acted as producer on what is one of the most hyped and ultimately disappointing games I've ever played, but DAMN is she HAWT.
